[courier-users] preventing for new messages

Hi,   Just one question. My Slackware 8 linux server is up and running with courier imap 1.3.9 and Qmail 1.03. Is that normal that I have to refresh manually my Inbox folder ( Outlook Express ) for receiving new messages.   Is there no parameter on courier-imap to configure that he prevents himself my clients that a new message is arrived ???   Thanks vincent
