Hi all, Throughout the various versions of courier I've run (0.3x through 0.3.7.20020315 currently) I don't get "anything" in /var/log/*, syslog or /var/adm/messages.
vanilla build with ./configure --without-authldap --without-authmysql \ --without-authpgsql --without-authuserdb --without-authvchkpw \ --with-waitfunc=wait3 using gcc2.95.3 and so forth. I would tend to guess that solaris syslog needs some config help or something. I also seem to see mail 'stuck' in the queue for a long time. no error returned if "one of several" recipients doesn't get the email and courier flush [message id] seems to not move things forward. cancelmsg doesn't cancel either. Often it's a hotmail user (thanks MS!) who is the recipient, but that's fairly variable. stopping courier and manually rm'ing the files gets rid of them, but in any case, would like to see sender notified of a deferred message or unable to deliver. any insights appreviated of course.
