What does that > mean, and how can I fix it? This is purely a shot in the dark, but I found that when I compiled Courier-Imap for Solaris I got the same exact error. However, in my case it was because there was no /var/run directory for the pid file. As soon as I created the directory, the daemon ran fine. Sincerely, Aaron D.
