I've got Courier-IMAP 1.4.4 installed (Linux 2.4.18). Running via imap.rc and pop3.rc. I want to authenticate to /etc/shadow. I've had to hack about with the pop3dserver.c to get it to chdir to /home/$USER/Maildir, rather than just Maildir. I assume I've got something set wrong for this to be required - however it does now work as advertised. I'm trying to get IMAP to authenticate to the same /etc/shadow.
Configured with --without-authmysql etc, everything but authuserdb and authshadow. /usr/lib/courier-imap/etc/imapd AUTHMODULES is "authdaemond" /etc/imapd.conf configdirectory: /var/imap partition-default: /var/spool/imap admins: mail_daveb root srvtab: /var/imap/srvtab allowanonymouslogin: yes sasl_passwd_check: shadow allowplaintext: yes Any hints? Thanks, Dave. _______________________________________________ courier-users mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] Unsubscribe: https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/courier-users
