Dear all,
I recently had a disk failure on the mail server losing all home direcotries. They were backed up so I rsynced over recent copy and we seem to be all working... except for one gentalman using pine. He now continually gets the following message while using pine: 5 messages expunged from folder "INBOX" the number has varied, but it is consistenent. His session is very very slow and occasionally totally non responsive. Other mail/imap clients can connect and manipulate mail fine, but his gets stuck. Relavent (hopefully) facts: Other users can use pine without problem. pine clients from different installs, workstations and versions all have the same problem. imapd starts using lots of cpu time when he is connected via pine he is using the "imap pine config" where your pine config file is stored on imap server. The "expunged from folder message" appears when you move pines select bar down to the end of the list. occasionally the select bar stops about 8 messages from the bottom of the list of messages and will not go farther. I used rsync -uav to move the files. So, What can cause this kind of problem? My suspects are a bad or misnamed/repeated file in the Maildirs, or a configuration option in his "imap pine config" Is there a way to check maildir files to check for one that is corrupted/missnamed? Thanks. David. _______________________________________________ courier-users mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] Unsubscribe: https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/courier-users
