Sam,
Thanks! thats exactly what I found. In pine I looked for duplicate messages or messages that would not open and grep'd the files in maildir/cur using a snippet of text from wonky messages. found the 2 files and removed the "shorter" of the two. quit pine, waited a very long time for it to close gracefully, and when I re-opened pine it worked fine. (recap of problem for achive) Pine connecting via courier-imap is sluggish, and keeps saying "x" messages expunged from "INBOX" but seems to be deleting nothing. Caused excessive cpu ussage in imapd. keywords: imapd courier imap-ssl pine expunge Maildir On Mon, 15 Apr 2002, Sam Varshavchik wrote: > David Ehle writes: > > > So, What can cause this kind of problem? > > > > My suspects are a bad or misnamed/repeated file in the Maildirs, or a > > configuration option in his "imap pine config" > > > > Is there a way to check maildir files to check for one that is > > corrupted/missnamed? > > Look for duplicate files in the maildir that have the same prefix, before > the : character, but different suffixes. > > > -- > Sam > > > _______________________________________________ > courier-users mailing list > [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Unsubscribe: https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/courier-users > _______________________________________________ courier-users mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] Unsubscribe: https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/courier-users
