As a side note here, Eudora is not a viable IMAP client. There are
serious boundaries issues with it, which the manufacturer itself has
been so far unable to resolve...and the university has been on their
case for months. Look elsewhere if you value the reliability of your
mail system.

  I'm trying to use Eudora 5.1 under Windows98, and Evolution 1.02 under
Linux to read my E-Mail via IMAP.  Neither of them seems to be able to
read
any message in my INBOX, they think that INBOX is just a folder that
contains other folders, and has no messages in itself.  I checked out
the
clients documentation on the website, but it doesn't mention either of
those
two clients.

  I've gotten both MS Outlook and Horde's IMP WebMail working fine, but
would appreciate any pointers, especially for Eudora.  Please rescue me
from
this Outlook hell...
