I have a bit of a similar problem. However, this is what I'm experiencing. I've been using OE for several years so give me the benefit of the doubt as to how to use it.
When there are a lot of messages in the mailbox, say 600 or so, it will mark them all as deleted but when I attempt to purge them, OE just sits there thinking about it forever. I remember this was a fairly quick operation in UW-IMAP with mbox format and I would think that it would be at least as fast if not faster with courier. I haven't yet had the opportunity to test this with other imap clients but anyone had this problem before? thnx, vec _______________________________________________________________ Have big pipes?
