I'm a vpopmail user, and I'm considering installing Courier-IMAP. But
reading the docs I still don't understand how Courier-IMAP tells qmail
where to deliver the mail.
With vpopmail, I do the following:
# cd $VPOPMAILDIR/bin
# ./vadduser [EMAIL PROTECTED]
And a directory is created in
$VPOPMAILDIR/domains/example.dom/username, and under there is where
you find the Maildir. In addition, vadduser writes the
/var/qmail/users/assign file, which tells qmail to direct all mail for
example.dom to the $VPOPMAILDIR/domains/example.dom directory, and the
.qmail-default in that directory makes sure mail is delivered to the
individual users.
Can someone please point me at a description (like the one describing
vpopmail above) for Courier-IMAP?
