Hi list, I am having problems using userdb.
I have created a directory /home/vmail and a user / group called vmail which /home/vmail is owned by I have then created /home/vmail/blah.com /home/vmail/blah.com/testuser maildirmake /home/vmail/blah.com/testuser/ and added an entry in /usr/local/courier/etc/userdb/blah.com as follows: [EMAIL PROTECTED] home=/home/vmail/blah.com/testuser uid=1006 gid=1006 systempw=password sed "s/password/`userdbpw < password.tmp`/" and run makeuserdb if I now telnet to port 110 and do a user [EMAIL PROTECTED] pass xxxxxxxx I get an authentication failed. I'm not sure why it would be failing. Does anyone have any suggestions on where I can start looking?
