solaris 8. gcc3.2. binutils 2.12.
getting the following failure:

also, i note that the changelog states that the toolchain has been upgraded to gcc 3.2 et al, but the online install readme (http://inter7.com/courierimap/INSTALL.html ) still states that courier will not compile with gcc 3.0.
is this pilot error or something else?
