I have disabled postfix.
I've started esmtpdd and courier.
A "netstat -anp | grep :25" returns this :-
tcp 0 0 80.7.11.5 0.0.0.0:* LISTEN
However when I try to telnet to the machine on port 25 it opens up, then times out after 30 or so seconds.
Doing a "netstat -anp | grep :25" again at this point returns the following :-
tcp 0 0 80.7.11.5 0.0.0.0:* LISTEN
tcp 0 0 80.7.11.5 64.239.122.12:37115 TIME_WAIT
tcp 0 0 80.7.11.5 80.7.11.5:33523 TIME_WAIT
I have port 25 allowed inbound and outbound on my firewall.
Can anyone help me out please?
