doesn't courier-imap have a trash or deleted items folder seems like I remember editing the spec file to rename trash to deleted items awhile back?

It sounds like things are working except for the "deleted items"
folder, so perhaps you just need to make sure the "deleted items"
folder has the same owner/permissions as the rest of the Maildir
directores.

But I don't use Outlook, so I'm just making wild guesses here.
FWIW, "deleted items" isn't a default Courier folder, so maybe
the problem is that no folder called "deleted items" exists on
the server. Maybe someone with Outlook experience can offer more
help.
