Hello,
after some days i send similar question about
courier-imapd how i log any message from imapd, authdaemond
.. etc, but i not recive any corect answer: HOW I LOG OR TRACE THEM?
I added in my mysql to log any query to file, ok but i file do not contains any trying
to connect to database with this
username and password. Ok when is error good old tcpdump is here, very well i started
with options port 3306,
but no any query and trying to conect with my mysql.
I check my mysql wiht comand line ( i give from authmysqlrc, when i edit):
mysql -u username -p database
and result is mysql>
evrithing about mysql is work. Hm... ok i check with ldd any courier files (imapd,
authdaemond{.mysql}, imapl...) and i see
that is compiled with mysql library.
Hm... very nice... i start with ./imapd.sh start
and all daemons is started, no any error message
but when i conect with telnet hostname 143
and say: a login myuser mypass
i recive error
Any ideas how i fix this problem and where can be?
or how i log or trace imapd or authdaemond with similar strace or truss command? Don't
say me that in this
oficial mailing list of courier-imap is not recived from
any developers in this project or is not possibly to log/trace error message from
courier-imap.
