I've installed qmail 1.0.3 on mandrake 9.0 and setup everything to run off Maildir. The SMTP part of this seems to work great, messages get into the users ~/Maildir/new and are ready to be picked up. I installed the 1.6.0(?) courier-imapd rpm and it installed nicely. All the default settings save ip address and authentication seem to be quite reasonable. BUT! I can't seem to actually get any mail from the courier imap daemon. I am using system accounts so i login with my username and system password using eudora 5's imap feature and it logs in successfully and "checks" my mail but says I have none even though I can see the mail in my maildir via telnet. Is there something I have to change or configure? Suggestions?
Also I found the actual configuration documentation to be a bit sparse for courier especially in comparison to Qmail. Recommendations for where to find extra documentation would also be appreciated.
