I just finished installing courier, got pop and imap working beautifully but the esmtp server still wont relay or recieve mail currently. When i try to relay mail through it from an IP that I added to the default file in the .../etc/smtpaccess directory. I get a 513 responce, relaying not allowed. Also when i try to send mail to the server from through a remote server to an account which is local to the courier mail server in question I get an error 450 service is not available. I believe I have setup my .../etc/locals and .../etc/me files correctly. I dont know why it doesnt work still.
Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks David Berndt
