its me again. after reading trough the documentation again i still can't
figure out why courier adds the default domain to all my emails sended using the
webmail interface.
i have configured the doomain schorsch.ch as locally hosted but when im
writing an email from this domain (using the webmail interface) the MAIL FROM
address looks like [EMAIL PROTECTED]
why doesn't courier know the schorsch.ch domain ? if i'm using outlook
to send emails it works fine.
thanks for any help
patrick
This file contains one line whose contents is a valid mail domain. Most header rewriting functions will append @defaultdomain to all E-mail addresses that do not specify a domain. If defaultdomain is missing, Courier uses the contents of the me control file. The contents of defaultdomain are also appended to return addresses to mail sent from Courier's webmail server, if they don't already have a domain. If defaultdomain does not exist, Courier's webmail server obtain the machine hostname, and uses that. |
