I don't see Sam making any bad decisions about feature sets. He sticks by the RFC's and even takes into account crappy clients whenever possible.
yep. and the imap server allows users to _SEND_ mail.
Case in point- The rework of the mail file naming to be more unique went
into effect once a real problem was identified.
