Everything is fine when sending mail locally using root or when using SMTP authentication over SSL remotely.
But when sending mail locally using any account but root, I get the following message: sendmail: ERR: Permission denied 400 Unable to submit message - service temporarily unavailable. I have checked the permissions of the sendmail binary and they are "--x" for all. The unavailability has not been temporary, as suggested by the error message :) I'm using courier-0.40.1 source distribution on Mandrake 9.0 Please help! -------------------------------- Villu Sepman Mob: +47 48038084 Alt. mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.NET email is sponsored by: SourceForge Enterprise Edition + IBM + LinuxWorld = Something 2 See! http://www.vasoftware.com _______________________________________________ courier-users mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] Unsubscribe: https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/courier-users
