All, I am having the exact same problem to a tee. I have checked the user and password in the database and my postfix install is using the same database so I know it works. I have tried to use both clear and encrypted password in the Courier-imap setup but same issue.
I am using mysql.com's MySQL rpm's 3.23.55 and Courier-imap 1.7. I figured I would post this so everyone knows Ryan is not alone on this. I also would really appreciate any help on this issue.
