I have courier-imap 1.5.3 installed and it works great. However, I have a user who uses a Compaq iPaq to get access to his email on this IMAP server. He uses the Inbox application that comes with PocketPC 2002. One problem is that Inbox does not allow you to specify the root IMAP path. This prevents this client from being able to delete messages on the server as well as not being able to save sent messages to the "Sent" folder. I researched this on the comp.mail.imap newsgroup (see the link below). To solve this problem, at least according to the poster in this newsgroup, I think I need to create another top level folder called "Deleted Items" to go along with INBOX. Is this possible? How would I do this? Any ideas on how to trick this client into thinking that there is a "Deleted Items" folder at the top level of this mailbox?

Any help or suggestions is appreciated.
Sincerely, Brian!
