It is running as root:

root 6770 0.0 0.2 3152 140 ? S Feb25 0:00
/usr/lib/courier/authlib/authdaemond.ldap start
root 6771 0.0 0.2 3152 140 ? S Feb25 0:00
/usr/lib/courier/authlib/authdaemond.ldap start
root 6772 0.0 0.2 3152 140 ? S Feb25 0:00
/usr/lib/courier/authlib/authdaemond.ldap start

I've looked in all the config files for a scratch directory, and all mention
I can find of such a thing is the mention of authdaemonvar and it says i
shouldnt touch it (:

Any ideas?
