Hi all,

I have just finished testing on the spam filter I have been working on. I'm
wondering if I could get some feedback.

Basically, its Spam Assassin, but I have hacked spamc up so that its part of
the filter and doesn't get called as a separate process. It also doesn't do
any writing to disk(yet), so its pretty fast. If it detects spam, it sends
a 550 error to the sender and fails the transaction. That way, the spam
never really hits the mail system.

I have a couple TODOs, one of which is configuration files. I was wondering
what kind of configuration stuff would be appropriate for a Spam Assassin
filter in courier? What kinds of options would seem to be worth putting in?
If any of you gurus out there could take a peek at my code and maybe provide
some feedback, I sure would appreciate it.

I know its still pretty rough, but I plan to spend more time on it adding
bells and whistles as I get ideas.

You can download the code right now from

thanks,

bill
