Hallo

I am having a strange problem.

Does the pop3 daemon have a timeout setting?

Why I ask:

When I connect to a pop3 mailbox which has 3044 (12 new) messages in it,
Outlook waits for 1 minutes and times-out no matter if the timeout in
outlook is set to more than a minute. So it always times-out after a minute
even if outlook is set to 2 minutes.

Another thing of interest is that courierpop3d uses almost 100% cpu time for
that whole minute.

So the problem is that I cant get my pop3 email.

Does anybody know what might be going on?

Any help would be appreciated.
