I think you can delete the first two lines of code in :
authlib/authdaemond.c:start()
These lines attempt to close all file descriptors from 3 to 256 and the
same statement can be found in the first lines of
liblock/lockdaemon.c:ll_daemon_start()
which is the next call in start()
