Yup - that's my understanding of it... When you use shared folders, they are
NOT below INBOX, but at the same level - from what I understand, courier
will let you create folders anywhere, but the client software has to format
the command properly... case in point - if you want your sent items saved in
the "Sent" folder on the IMAP server, you have to set the root path (last
page of account options I think to INBOX.
 I don't think outlook properly realized what path it's dealing with.

yeah, maybe you are right, but why I can not
make new folder in root of account but just beneath Inbox ?

and if I want to set up a root folder in Outlook Express, it
says no rights and courier-imap server refuses to do so.

and I make a folder beneath Inbox, and I can see that
the new folder has just been placed in the same folder with Inbox,
for example, in ~vpopmail/domain/domain_name/postmaster/Maildir/

is it a bug of Outlook Express too??
