I am having a
strange problem that I suspect is either related to vpopmail or
courier-imap. I can continue to log in fine to my email account until I
switch to another user. Once I switch to a new user (on the same box) I
can't log in as the previous user. I'll get an invalid user id or password
error. Everything works fine for the new user until I log in with
another third new user. Same thing again but this time neither of the
first two accounts can log in anymore. If I reboot the server, then
everything returns to normal until I do the process again.
I am using qmail +
vpopmail + courier-imap + squirrel-mail. I've tried restarting the imap
service, qmail, etc but the only thing that seems to work is rebooting the whole
server (obviously I'm missing something). The logs don't offer much help
as they go from showing successful logins to just a series of rejected
logins.
Anybody encountered
this problem before? I'm wondering if my IP is locking to a user ID on the
server somehow and not letting go.
