From the previous corispondence I have been contemplating what, if anything I may have missed, so I am going to try to explain from the beginning.

I started with Mandrake 9.1, clean install running servers in Higher mode.
I installed no email servers of any kind.
I downloaded and installed courier-0.42.2.20030721.tar.bz2 as instucted in the install guide.
I then spent several re-boots trying to understand why some items we not starting on their own.
After reading the FAQs I descoved that the Pop3 service wasn't started by default.
I then proceded to change that setting in the config files.
With Pop3 working I then set to try and keep mail from going into the either.
I then preceded to auto start every Courier service that may have anything to do with MTA.
The email still falls off into the void.
I beleve though that since, from that computer, I can send a mail to the outside world, that I may have eather made a major mistake, or have some sort of configureation error of some kind. I am willing to provide any configuration files or log file requested of me. I have printed out the Install Gude, and I plan to read it again, to see if there was anything I have missed. Any help will be apreshiated.
Thanks
Matt
