Thanks again Roland for the explanation...

Sorry... I'm having a hard time...

I've setup authmysqlrc with these parameters:

MYSQL_HOME_FIELD home
MYSQL_DEFAULTDELIVERY delivery

And I do return both of those fields in my MYSQL CLAUSE.

I've tried setting the "home" field in the table to
'|/bin/true' but then authtest returns this:

chdir "|/bin/true": No such file or directory

So authtest will fail as long as I don't have a valid
directory in the "home" field.

If I setup a valid directory in the "home" field and then
setup the "delivery" field to something ('|/bin/true') that
setting is ignored, delivery is made straight to the
directory in the home field.

What am I missing in the setup which prevents '|/bin/true'
from working out of authmysqlrc?

Another question... can I also use forwarding rules in
authmysqlrc, such as
'[EMAIL PROTECTED]' as well? If so, what environment
variables are available for that (I noticed that in your
example you mentioned something like,

|/bin/echo "$EXT2" >/tmp/check-smtp-pong

Can $EXT2 actually be used within authmysqlrc?

Thanks again
Ricardo
