As I recall from previous posts to this thread, you're using vpopmail--right?

I'm having the same problem as you and wasn't able to find a solution. I tried increasing daemons and
maxip to allow more daemons and IP connections but this didn't work, either.


Given that I would have problems about 10 minutes after starting authdaemond (this increased a bit
after changing the number of daemons and maxips) I decided to create a Cron job to restart
authdaemond every 10 minutes. Since doing this, I haven't had a single problem.
