UNLESS you run courier at both locations - which prevents your secondary from being flooded with Spam the primary rejected... which causes the secondary to have to do extra work... if it was filtered in similar fashion at the secondary the problem wouldn't exist... this is only one example of a typical situation when you catch data between a permissive server and a restrictive one... happens for many reasons - try forwarding mail to an external server - then you become clogged with mail bounces when their forwarding accounts back up...
