I am not 100% sure, but I think you want to create /etc/courier/me (I
just suspect you're using Debian woody; if not, the path may differ).
- From `man courier`:
me This file contains one line whose contents is a
valid machine name.
(read the whole section in the man page!)
Enter a valid host name, even if it is just an A/MX record fom dyndns.org.

I think you want to find out what the files locals, esmtpacceptmailfor
and, if you have virtual users, hosteddomains are for.
esmptpacceptmailfor(.dir): First ruleset an incoming mail has to pass.
All domains the smtpd is accepting or relaying mails for have to be
listed in that file.
locals: Local domains, i.e. domains that will be mapped to local unix
users
hosteddomains: Counterpart to locals; used for "virtual hosting".
You want to read the documentation for these files, too.
I hope I got everything right; if not, I have no doubt that someone from
the list will correct me.
