OLD MACHINE: in base mail slice/dir 'tar ycf /PLACE YOUR RESTRICTED WEB DIR HERE/MAIL.bz2*
NEW MACHINE: in base mail slice/dir "fetch http://YOUR URL TO PROTECTED DIR HERE/Mail.bz2 && tar yxf MAIL.bz2" All mail moves, no problems. FETCH is faster than RSYNC/RCP (IME), just remember to immediately remove the bz2 file from the old server unless it is decommissioned immediately to alleviate confusion later. This method alleviates/negates problems for many parties setting up rsync/rcp/scp on the ORI host...
