I'm now wondering if I can use Courier's queue ID here instead of a
separately constructed unique message ID. I'm trying to find out where
this queue ID is first generated, to see if I can use it here.

In reading http://www.courier-mta.org/queue.html, I came across this:

"G) Somewhere along the process, the file
  $localstatedir/tmp/yyyyyyyy/tttttt.ppppp.hhhhhh is created. ..."

Reading the entire section in which this sentence appears, it looks like
the "tttttt.pppppp.hhhhhh" queue ID is generated somewhere within the
"submit" process, but I can't find this anywhere in the code. Rather,
it appears as if this queue ID is actually generated within the
"courierd" process, instead ... although I'm not sure.

Sam, is the queue ID really generated within the "submit" process, like
the documentation seems to be indicating? If so, could you point me to
the code where this is done?

Thanks.
