Is there a specific number of messages per connection Courier will attempt per host?
If there are 40 messages in the queue, is there a way to encourage or force Courier to open one connection then send 40 messages down that connection (or even a small number like 5-10).
Under the default configuration, there will be no more than four concurrent delivery attempts to the same domain. If the domain has more than one MX record, each one of the 1-4 connections will be made to an independently random chosen MX (subject to the stated MX priorities).
