I want to create a message from a webinterface which includes an additional X-Header telling submit/courierd when to move the message from the wait-queue into the message-queue.

If that's all you want, I have a web interface that lets you spool a message for later delivery using "at". It requires no modifications to Courier, and works with other mailers as well.

For some reasons (customers wish) I have to use a given mail client. I easily could add an additional header to his message, but I can not force him to use another web interface.
So I believe, I have to find a method to schedule a message, after courieresmtpd received it and before courierd fetches it.

Additionally I thought, courierd could put the message back into the wait-queue, if a repeat-message-event is defined on the messages X-Header.

Has anyone thought of this before?

Sure, but there are tools available to do these things without modifying your MTA.

I have looked for some time now, but could not find anything satisfying my (ie the customers) whishes.
