I'm getting something similar from one particular site. Apr 23 20:18:50 local courieresmtp: \ id=00033B35.4088ED8A.00002F08,from=<[EMAIL PROTECTED]>, addr=<[EMAIL PROTECTED]>: \ 454 TLS not available: missing RSA private key (#4.3.0)
Is the "missing RSA private key" on our end or the other end ? On our local server -> ls -l /etc/courier/*.pem -rw------- 1 daemon root 1954 Apr 23 20:03 /etc/courier/esmtpd.pem -rw------- 1 daemon root 1954 Apr 23 20:03 /etc/courier/imapd.pem -rw------- 1 daemon root 1954 Apr 23 20:03 /etc/courier/pop3d.pem The admin from the other end wrote... > The MTA from senders end is trying to use TLS, which is strange and is > NOT an expected behaviour! Sender needs to ask the mail administrator to > check the startls request as its not a supported feature and isnt > required for SMTP mail delivery. Is the admin on the other end correct ? ii courier-mta 0.42.2-7 Courier Mail Server - ESMTP daemon --markc ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: The Robotic Monkeys at ThinkGeek For a limited time only, get FREE Ground shipping on all orders of $35 or more.
