dpkg --get-selections | grep sendmail
See if you get anything back (I'm certain you won't, or if you do it will be status "deinstall").
IIRC, the "sendmail" you have now is merely for compatibility purposes.
Yep, I get nothing, so I assume my "sendmail" is part of courier-mta package for compatibility purposes.
Now what am I doing wrong ? How come this "sendmail" ignores my courier-mta configuration ? Has it something to do with basic SMTP vs ESMTP ?
Heres a typical line in my /var/log/mail.log :
Jul 20 13:43:50 sd371 sendmail[6454]: i6KBhnQN006454: ruleset=check_rcpt, arg1=<[EMAIL PROTECTED]>, [EMAIL PROTECTED] [81.134.249.102], reject=550 5.7.1 <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>... Relaying denied
Thank you for your help
