Hi all,

I have a very very extrange problem with a new installation of
postfix/courier with mysql, I want to use a dell powervault nas to store
the mails. The problem is that when I sent a message to any virtual
account the postfix process the mail without any problem storing it in
the nfs mounted directory /discos/postfix/[EMAIL PROTECTED]/new but when I try
to read the mails the pop client says that there isn't any new mail
(syslog:
Oct  4 12:35:59 web1 courierpop3login: LOGOUT,
[EMAIL PROTECTED], ip=[::ffff:62.15.136.54], top=0, retr=0
Oct  4 12:37:45 web1 courierpop3login: Connection,
ip=[::ffff:62.15.136.54]
)

 but if I umount /discos and try again every thing works, it reads the
messages (without change any thing in file permision neither config
files)
(syslog:
Oct  4 13:24:45 web1 courierpop3login: Connection,
ip=[::ffff:62.15.136.54]
Oct  4 13:24:45 web1 courierpop3login: LOGIN,
[EMAIL PROTECTED], ip=[::ffff:62.15.136.54]
Oct  4 13:24:46 web1 courierpop3login: LOGOUT,
[EMAIL PROTECTED], ip=[::ffff:62.15.136.54], top=0, retr=384
)

I both cases I md /discos/postfix and then chmod -R 751 /discos/postfix,
chown postfix.postfix /discos/postfix

the powervault unit is a Windows Storage Server 2003 (preconfigured by
dell) and I have maped user postfix, group postfix and gorup postdrop to
windows user and groups

Any hint?

kind regards
