I have a Courier administration question. Our current IMAP server allows us
to login as a super user (postmaster) and have the ability to read and
manipulate any mailbox we choose via IMAP. Basically we login as postmaster
and can open any folder than we specify. This is tremendously helpful when
writing customer service tools. I was wondering if we'd be able to do
something similar with Courier. Can we somehow form a user with a home
directory that's above the home directory of other maildirs and be able to
access other directories that way?

I hope that email made sense...

No.

The closest thing would be a configuration that uses virtual mailboxes with access control lists. Then, if the individual mailbox gives the necessary access rights to the administator's login ID, the admin will be able to manipulate that mailbox.
