Did you try building without first changing the RPM specfile? I believe the gamin and gamin-devel RPMS register themselves as supplying fam and fam-devel respectively. When I built on FC3, Courier did not complain of missing fam-devel. However, as Sam said, I've experienced issues with IMAP Enhanced IDLE and FC3. In my experience, it just didn't work, no errors from gamin or Courier but Courier IMAP would never report new messages to clients in Enhanced IDLE mode. But try it for yourself (make sure IDLE and file locking is enabled in /etc/courier/imapd) and let us know if it works. -- Jay Lee Network / Systems Administrator Information Technology Dept.
