Yes, this works as advertised.  However, you will have to adjust where
to look for the authdaemon socket since Sam moved it as part of the
courier-authlib separation.

https://linux.last-bastion.net which has courier, spamassassin, this
patch and much much much more.  BastionLinux integrates with yum and
up2date to relieve you of your administration burden.
