On the topic of Maildir performance, has anyone compared Courier's IMAP server on RHEL 4 to other systems? RHEL 4 includes an ext3 fs that supports hashed directories, pre-allocated extends, and some other features that seem like they'd benefit Maildir applications immensly, especially on very large folders.
