This system is running courier-0.50 on redhat 9. Starting this week I began seeing the following errors in maillog:

Dec 15 09:57:23 mail courieresmtpd: error,relay=::ffff:68.230.241.34,from=<[EMAIL PROTECTED]>,to=<[EMAIL PROTECTED]>: 456 Address temporary unavailable.

There are about 200 local user accounts, some of which have an alias which forwards to their home ISP accounts.

And if their home ISP begins rejecting forwarded mail, Courier will refuse to accept any more mail, for forwarding, until the ISP resumes accepting their mail, again.

Is there something else I must consider?

No.  Everything is working correctly.
