Hey all Thanks for all the help and suggestions.
Tony's suggestion of using fam-2.7.0 worked and the log is no longer filling up with those errors. It's certainly not an issue with my machine being 64-bit. Thanks everyone for the help once again! This list is great. With helpful people in the Linux community I cannot see why Microsoft's dominance of the OS market can be broken eventually.
