Hello everybody 1 - Mail reports is in progress in Clamcour. That's good. 2 - Clamcour is just a filter ! Not a daemon. If the filter is KO, courier will reject mail with temporary error. (so it will retry later) So what you are saying is that if Clamd is down, it will look to Courier like Clamcour is dead resulting in a temporary reject? Maybe I can move Amavis out of the way on one of my test servers so I can test Clamcour. Depending how you built Clamcour, it can work. On my box, I use libclamav. And it works even if clamd is stopped (just tried right now !)
