I just tracked down a really annoying problem. It seems that one of my users is getting multiple copies of messages in their inbox. I examined the messages and determine that they are coming from Courier. This is what is happening:
- A message comes in for user1 - Maildrop attempts to deliver it - User1's .mailfilter CC's the message to user2 - Maildrop then determines that user1 is over quota and queues the message for redelivery - Rinse and repeat with a duplicate message being sent to user2 on every delivery attempt I never saw this issue prior to my upgrade. Is this due to the changed handling of over-quota conditions for the backscatter suppression?
