Hi. I have a courier mail server that is receiving MX for a non-local domain. those messages should be sent via smtp to the correct MX (don't ask!).
Now, the primary MX is broken (hardware crash) and cannot receive mail. Our queue get filled up, that's clear. But the admin of the other system is quite slow and now I should do something so that the messages don't get bounced after some days. Qmail simply looks at the timestamp and a "find ... -exec touch ..." is all thats needed. From the docs, I think courier doesn't look at the file's timestamp and need some magic in the control file. So here's the question: What is the clean way to get the messages held in the queue another $queue_lifetime instead of being bounced? The ugly way would be writing a script that changes ^E.*-Lines manually in all the control-files, right? cu, Bernd -- Ein Psychologe ist ein Mann, der beim Auftauchen eines hübschen Mädchens nicht das Mädchen anschaut, sondern die Männer, die das Mädchen anschauen. - Jo Herbst
