Update: I just tried setting up my ArchLinux desktop with
courier-authlib 0.59.3-1 and courier-mta 0.55.1-1 but I still
get the same error in the same place. This kind of eliminates
the Debian courier packages as being at fault.

 [pid 11935] write(1, "[EMAIL PROTECTED]"..., 107) = -1 EPIPE (Broken pipe)
 [pid 11935] --- SIGPIPE (Broken pipe) @ 0 (0) ---

So that is 3 systems all behaving the same with one of them being
a live system using MySQL (so courier is defintely otherwise working)
such that just swapping between .

I'm not sure how to dig any deeper than using strace -f so any help
or ideas how to get around this problem would be appreciated.
