Since we just saw a similar error recently, I'm going to guess that when you upgraded, you started using a different DBM library, or a different and incompatible version of the DBM library. I recommend using gdbm, as its file format doesn't change frequently, as BDB does. Once you settle on a dbm library and rebuild on CentOS 5 (if you decide to rebuild), then you may need to "export" the subscriber information on the old system, and "import" it on the new one.
